Pacific:
— Southeast CA, including Death Valley and the Mojave Desert, and eastern CA Sierra Mountains; most of southern, central and northeast NV : Flood Watches through late tonight from monsoon thunderstorms. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Area bounded by I-80 to the north and I-40 to the south. I-40, I-80, US-50, US-395 potentially impacted.
Mountain:
— West-central and northwest WY: Locally heavy rain and thunderstorms today and Saturday may produce isolated flash flooding. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks potentially impacted.
— Portions of west-central and north-central NM: Flood Watches this afternoon and evening from monsoon thunderstorms. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. I-25 potentially impacted.
Central:
— South-central SD and north-central NE: Excessive Heat Warning today. Heat index may reach 110 deg F. I-90 impacted.
— Western and central KY: Flash Flood Warnings, Advisories, and Watches continue through this morning. 1-3 inches of rain have already fallen; an additional 1-2 inches of rain is possible this morning. If you are in a flash flood warning, move to higher ground but do not drive or tow through or across a flooded road. Flash Flood Warnings bounded between I-24 and I-65. I-24, I-64, I-65 potentially impacted.
Eastern:
— Central and south-central KY: Flood Advisories this morning. Flooding is occurring in low-lying and poor drainage areas. I-64, I-75 potentially impacted.
— Central and eastern KY; southern OH; central and western WV: Flood Watches continue through Sunday evening, especially in the eastern portions of this area. Flash Flooding caused by continued excessive rainfall is possible. I-64, I-75, I-77, I-79 potentially impacted.
