** Heads up ** Widespread significant weather impacts on RV Travel today through Saturday from east of the Rockies to the Mississippi River, north of I-40. High winds, heavy rain and flash flooding, and severe thunderstorms are all likely.
- Strong gusty winds for southeast Colorado, the Southwest and southern High Plains. Strongest winds today in Colorado impacting I-25 and I-70.
- High winds Saturday impact western South Dakota, Much of Nebraska, and northern Kansas. Very strong crosswinds on I-80 and I-90.
- Severe thunderstorms capable of all hazards and heavy rain are possible today across portions of the southern and central Plains.
- Heavy rain will increase river flooding in the Northern Plains.

Pacific:
— No significant weather-related RV travel issues today or Saturday.
Mountain:
— Southwest MT: Winter Weather Advisories through mid-morning. 1-3 inches snow in the valleys and 3-5 inches in the mountains. Little or no accumulation below 4000 feet. I-15, I-90 impacted.
— Central MT: Winter Storm Warning continues through midnight tonight. Total accumulation up to 6-14 inches in the mountains. Snow levels 3500-4000 feet.
— Southeast MT and north-central WY Big Horn Mountains: Winter Weather Advisory through tonight. 5-9 inches snow possible. I-90 on eastern edge of advisory area.
— Southeast ID: Wind Advisory through this afternoon. Gusts 55-60 mph. I-15, I-84 impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Watches through Saturday night. Wind gusts to 60 mph possible. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Parts of eastern UT, northwest and west-central CO: Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-70 impacted.
— Eastern CO: Wind gusts to 55 mph through this evening. Winds covered under ‘Red Flag’ (fire danger) warning. I-25, I-70, I-76 impacted.
— Northern and central NM: High Wind Warnings and Advisories through this evening. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. I-25, I-40 impacted.
Central:
— Southern ND; central and western SD; central and western NE; northwest and north-central KS: High Wind Warnings, Watches and Advisories from midnight tonight through Saturday evening. Wind gusts 50-70 mph. Strongest winds over southern SD and NE. I-70, I-76, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Southern KS; northern, central and western OK, western TX: Wind Advisories (or Red Flag Warnings) late this morning through this evening. Wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-10, I-20, I-27, I-35, I-40, I-44 impacted.
— Much of eastern ND; northwest MN: Flood Watches and Warnings continue through Sunday. Several streams and small rivers already above flood stage with more heavy rain expected today and Saturday. Some roads closed due to flooding. I-29 potentially impacted.
— Central and southeast NE; central and eastern KS; southwest IA; western MO; central and northeast OK: Severe thunderstorms likely to develop Friday afternoon and continue into Friday night. A few strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind gusts all possible. I-29, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-70, I-80 potentially impacted. Greatest threat along an axis from OKC through eastern KS to central NE.
— Eastern IL, southeast WI: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms, including a couple of tornadoes, Saturday afternoon and evening.
Eastern:
— Eastern PA, NJ: Wind gusts to 30 mph today and this evening. Major highways impacted include I-76 / PA Turnpike, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-95 / NJ Turnpike.
