  • Gusty winds will impact the Northern Plains and portions of the Upper Midwest today. These strong winds will impact the Carolinas and northern Georgia on Saturday.
  • Late season accumulating snow probable for far-western New York and the higher terrain of Pennsylvania and West Virginia Saturday night and Sunday.
  • Rain moves into California Sunday night and Monday.
  • Record warmth is possible in portions of the West; conversely, areas in the Eastern U.S. will experience temps 10-20 degrees below normal through early next week.

Pacific:

— No significant weather risks to RV Travel today or Saturday.

— Rain moves into much of CA Sunday night and Monday. High snow levels of 6000 feet or higher. Some advisories possible.

Mountain:

— No significant weather risks to RV travel today or Saturday.

Central:

— Central and eastern ND; eastern SD; western, central and southern MN; IA; much of northern and northwest IL: Wind Advisories today. Gusts 45-55 mph. Major highways impacted include: I-29, I-35, I-39, I-55, I-74, I-80, I-88, I-90, I-94.

Eastern:

— Interior ME: Winter Weather Advisories through this afternoon. Up to 3 additional inches snow possible. I-95 impacted.

— Far-western NY; southwest PA; northeast WV: Chance for several inches accumulating wet snow Saturday night and Sunday. Advisories probable. I-76 / PA Turnpike, I-79 (WV), I-90 / NY Thruway, US-220 (WV) potentially impacted.

— Eastern KY; eastern TN; NC; SC; northern GA: Strong winds Saturday. Gusts 30-40 mph except 45-60 mph along the TN/NC border. Advisories likely. I-20, I-26, I-40, I-75, I-77, I-85, I-95 impacted.
