Mountain:
— Eastern MT: Wind gusts 30-40 mph Saturday morning and midday. I-94 impacted.
Central:
— Central and eastern ND, SD and NE; central and western MN; western IA: Severe thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rains, damaging wind gusts, large hail and a couple of tornadoes are possible this afternoon and evening. I-29, I-35, I-70, I-80, I-90 potentially impacted.
— Western and central ND, SD: Wind gusts 30-40 mph Saturday afternoon. I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Southeast LA, coastal MS: Excessive Heat Warning this afternoon and evening. Heat index 108-112 deg F. I-10, I-12 impacted.
— Strong thunderstorms may break out Saturday late afternoon and evening along a corridor just north of old Rte-66, from Amarillo to Kansas City to Chicago.
Eastern:
— Portions of the northwest FL Peninsula: Excessive Heat Warning this afternoon and evening. Heat index 110-115 deg F.
