- Unsettled pattern continues from portions of the Southern Plains into the Southeast with isolated instances of severe weather and/or flash flooding possible into the weekend.
- A series of storms will bring low elevation rain, mountain snow, and some strong winds to the Pacific Northwest and northern California into the Rockies into early next week

Pacific:
— Parts of southwest and south-central OR and far-northern CA; central and east-central OR: Winter Weather Advisories tonight through Saturday afternoon. Snow levels 2500 feet in the west, rising to 3500 feet in the east. Snow accumulations generally 2-6 inches. I-5, I-84, US-101 impacted.
— CA Sierra Nevada Mountains above 6000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories for tonight and Saturday. 6-12 inches above 6000 feet. I-80, US-50 impacted.
— CA Eastern Slope Sierras and adjacent west-central NV, including the Reno Area; southeast CA deserts; southern NV: High Winds Warnings and Advisories Saturday. Wind gusts 55-75 mph. I-80, US-50, US-395 impacted.
Mountain:
— Southeast WY: High Wind Watches late Saturday night though Sunday afternoon. Gusts to 70 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Southwest, central, south-central UT; central and northern AZ: Wind Advisories through Saturday evening. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-15, I-17, I-40, I-70 impacted.
Central:
— Northeast OK, northwest AR: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are expected this evening and tonight. Large hail and damaging winds should be the main threats where thunderstorms develop. A brief tornado can not be ruled out during the evening. I-40, I-44 potentially impacted.
Eastern:
— Southeast MI; northern and central OH; western PA; western, northwest, and northern NY: High Wind Warnings (northwest NY) and Advisories through this evening. Gusts 45-50 mph except 50-60 mph over NY State. Major highways impacted include I-69, I-70, I-71, I-76, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-87, I-90, OH and PA Turnpikes, NY Thruway.
