  • Heavy rains, flash flooding and strong winds continue today over parts of New England.
  • Strong winds expected this afternoon over central and western Nebraska.
  • Possible flash flooding for the southern California and Arizona deserts Saturday.

Pacific:

— Southeast CA; western and central AZ: Flood Watches Saturday and Saturday night associated with a low pressure system moving through the region. I-10, I-17, I-40 potentially impacted.

Mountain:

— No significant weather impacts to RV travel today or Saturday.

Central:

— I-40 corridor from Abilene TX to Memphis TN: Strong to possibly severe thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening. Damaging winds and hail are the main threats.

— Western and central NE; adjacent SD and WY: Strong winds this afternoon and early evening. Wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-80 impacted.

— Western and central SD: Strong winds Saturday afternoon. Wind gusts 30-40 mph. I-90 impacted.

Northern and central MN; northern WI: Slight chance of winter impacts on RV driving and towing from snow today and Saturday. Accumulations generally 2 inches or less. I-35 potentially impacted.

Eastern:

West-central NH (Carroll and Coos counties) and adjacent east-central ME (Franklin and Oxford counties): Flood Warnings this morning. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen overnight and an addition 2-3 inches of rain are expected. Flooding is occurring now. Move away from creeks, streams and small rivers and seek higher ground. Do not drive or tow across flooded roads.

Most of ME; NH; northern VT: Flood Watches continue through Saturday morning. An additional 1-3 inches of rain is possible. I-89, I-91, I-93, I-95 potentially impacted.

— Eastern and central MA; northern CT; RI: Flood Watches continue through this morning. I-84, I-90, I-91, I-95, Mass Pike potentially impacted.

Eastern and northeast ME, along and to the east of the I-95 corridor; southeast NH; northeast coastal MA: Wind Advisories through this afternoon. Gusts 45-50 mph. I-93, I-95 impacted.

Southern RI; southeast MA including all of Cape Cod: Wind Advisories through early this afternoon. Gusts 45-50 mph. I-95, US-6 impacted.

— Western NY: Strong winds Saturday morning. Gusts 35-45 mph. I-81, I-90 / NY Thruway impacted.
