— Southern CA Coastal Mountains and adjacent inland valleys: High Wind Warnings (Los Angeles County mountains) and Advisories through this afternoon. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, US-101 impacted.
Mountain:
— Northwest, central and south-central MT: High Wind Warnings, Watches and Advisories tonight through Saturday night. Gusts 50-75 mph, with highest wind gusts along the Rocky Mountain Front and the Beartooth Foothills and Livingston area. I-15, I-90 impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Wind Warnings and Watches midday today through Saturday through Saturday night. Gusts 65-75 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.
— Southeast NM: Winter Weather Advisory through midday today. Up to 2 inches additional snow possible.
Central:
— Northeast SD, northwest MN: Winter Weather Advisories for blowing snow in gusts up to 40 mph. I-29 impacted.
— TX Panhandle and northern TX; OK; AR; southern and eastern MO; southern IL; western KY; western TN; northern MS: Winter Weather Advisories today and this evening. Snow accumulations generally 1-3 inches. Snow ending from west to east. Perhaps some freezing rain mixing in for the southern portions of this region. Major highways impacted include I-27, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-44, I-49, I-55, I-70.
— Most of eastern TX; southern LA; central and southern MS; AL; FL Panhandle; southwest GA: Wind Advisories today tonight and Saturday. Highest winds move across this region from west to east. Gusts 35-40 mph. I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-75 impacted.
Eastern:
— Northern AL; central and western TN; eastern KY; southern IN; southern and eastern OH; WV; western and northern VA; western and central MD; most of PA except southeastern portion of state; NY except Long Island and New York City; VT; central and northern NH; northern ME: Winter Storm Warnings Watches and Advisories tonight, Saturday and Saturday night. Snow ends from the south and west to the north and east. Accumulations will range from 3-6 inches in the southern and central portions of the warned area to 7-12 inches over parts of NY and New England. Snow will be accompanied by wind gusts 25-40 mph. Major highways impacted include: I-40, I-64, I-65, I-68, I-70, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-79, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-91, I-93. I-95 is to the east of this area and should stay OK.
— Most of northern FL and adjacent southern GA: Flood Watch through Saturday morning. I-10, I-75 potentially impacted.
— Southern MS; southern and southeast AL; northern FL; most of GA; most of SC; central and eastern NC; southeast VA; DELMARVA Peninsula: Risk of severe thunderstorms Friday night and Saturday morning. Damaging winds, isolated hail and a few tornadoes are possible. Greatest risk along an axis from the FL Big Bend and eastern Panhandle northeastwards to Cape Hatteras NC.
