  • Low Pressure moving along the St. Lawrence Seaway produces strong winds over the central Appalachians and much of the Northeast today and tonight.
  • High winds continue today for the western High Plains of Montana and Wyoming.
  • Extensive fog through late morning over eastern TX, much of the Gulf Coast and the Lower Mississippi and Ohio River Valleys.
  • Some light snow for Wisconsin and Michigan on Friday.

— Interior central CA: Dense Fog Advisory through late morning for the central and southern Sacramento Valley, northern San Joaquin Valley, and the Delta. I-5, I-80, CA-99 impacted.

— Central and southern CA coast: Dense Fog Advisories through late this morning. I-5, I-10, I-110, I-710, I-705, US-101 all impacted.

— North-central MT along the Rocky Mountain Front: High Wind Warnings through this afternoon. Gusts to 65 mph.

— South-Central MT: High Wind Warnings through midday today. Gusts to 65mph. I-90, US-191 impacted.

— Northwest WY Cody Foothills: High Wind Warning through midday today. Gusts 60-75 mph.

— Eastern TX; southwest through northeast AR; western and southern LA; northwest MS and southwest TN; southern MS and AL; FL Panhandle; southwest IN and northwest KY: Dense Fog Advisories through late morning. Major highways impacted include I-10, I-12, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65.

— Western NY: Wind Advisories late this morning through this evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-81, I-90 (NY Thruway) impacted.

— Western MD, northeast WV, northwest VA: High Wind Warnings and Advisories late this morning through evening. Gusts 50-65 mph. I-68, I-70, I-81 impacted. Highest winds west of I-81.

— Much of the remainder of NY and PA: Expect winds to gust 30-40 mph Thursday afternoon and evening. No advisories. I-80, I-81, I-88, I-90 impacted.

— Much of VT, NH, ME: Expect winds to gust 35-50 mph late Thursday night into Friday morning. Currently no advisories. I-89, I-91, I-93, I-95 impacted.
