  • ** Heads up ** Strong coastal storm near Georgia this morning will bring significant ocean inundation and strong winds along the Atlantic coast from Virginia Beach south to the Florida Space Coast. Conditions will improve from south to north starting this evening. Have a plan to avoid rising flood waters.
  • Storms move into the Pacific Northwest over the next few days, bringing rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds. Strongest Pacific storm will impact the coast late Monday night and Tuesday.
  • Low pressure near Savannah Georgia this morning intensifies and moves along the southeast coast, bringing strong winds and storm surge to the immediate coastline.

— Northwest and north-central WA: Winter Weather Advisories midday today through Sunday midday for the Olympic and Cascade Mountains above 4000 feet. Snow accumulations 6-12 and 6-18 inches, respectively.

— Southwest OR Coast: High Wind Watch Monday afternoon and Monday night. Gusts to 65 mph. US-101 potentially impacted.

— South-central OR: High Wind Watch Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Gusts to 70 mph.

— Northern CA Siskiyou County: High Wind Watch Monday afternoon through Monday night. Gusts to 65 mph. I-5 potentially impacted.

— Northern CA Trinity County above 3000 feet: Winter Storm Watch Monday through Tuesday morning. 4-8 inches snow expected. I-5 impacted.

— CA Central Sierra Nevada Mountains above 6500 feet: Winter Weather Advisory midday today through midnight tonight. 3-6 inches snow. I-80 impacted.

— Coastal Southern CA from Santa Barbara County to Los Angele: Dense Fog Advisory through late morning. I-5, US-101 impacted.

— Northwest WY and adjacent southwest MT: Winter Weather Advisory for Yellowstone National Park this evening though midday Sunday. 2-8 inches of snow expected.

— Central MS: Dense Fog Advisories through late morning. I-20, I-55 impacted.

— Central and south-central TN, northern AL, northwest GA: Dense Fog Advisories through late morning. I-24, I-40, I-59, I-65, I-75 impacted.

— Central and south SC coast, coastal GA, northern and central Atlantic FL coast: Coastal Flood Warnings through Sunday. Sea water may be as high as 1-3 feet above ground level.

— Central and south SC coast, coastal GA, northern FL coast: Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts 40-45 mph. Winds will slowly abate from south to north. I-95 impacted.

— Coastal Tidewater VA, coastal NC north of Wilmington: High Wind Warnings and Wind Advisories this evening through Sunday night. Wind gusts 50-60 mph. Highest winds near Cape Hatteras.

— Coastal Tidewater VA, Cape Hatteras NC: Coastal Flood Warnings through Sunday. Water inundation may be 1-2 feet above ground level in VA and as much as 2-4 feet above ground level on the Outer Banks.
