  • Some snow likely Sunday from northern Virginia to eastern Massachusetts. Greatest amounts on the I-81 northern VA corridor. One to possibly two inches of a snow/rain mix for I-95.
  • Hot and gusty conditions will continue across southern California.
  • Gusty winds today over Texas, moving from north to south.

— Southern CA Coastal areas: Heat Advisory through Sunday evening. High temperatures near 90 deg.

— Southern CA coastal valleys and mountains from Los Angeles County in the north to San Diego County in the south: Wind Advisories for Santa Ana winds through this afternoon. Gusts 40-50 mph. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, US-101 impacted.

— Southeast ID: Dense Fog Advisory through late this morning. I-15, I-84, I-86 impacted.

— Northeast NM, adjacent far-west TX and OK Panhandles: Winter Weather Advisories through mid-morning. Total accumulations 1-2 inches. I-25, I-40 impacted.

— Southeast coastal TX: Dense Fog Advisory through mid-morning.

— MN Arrowhead: Wind Chill Warning through mid-morning. Wind chill temperatures as low as -45 deg F. I-35 impacted.

— Southeast MI shoreline, adjacent northwest IN: Winter Weather Advisories through this evening. Up to 4 inches lake effect snow possible. I-80/90/IN Toll Road, I-94, I-196 impacted.

— Southeast LA, southern MS; southwest AL: Dense Fog Advisories through mid-morning. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-55, I-59, I-65 impacted.

West-central VA: Winter Storm Watch late tonight and Sunday for I-81 corridor between Harrisonburg and Roanoke: Up. To 3-6 inches snow possible. I-64, I-81 potentially impacted.

— Northern VA, DC, central MD, northern DE, NJ, southeastern PA, southern NY, southern CT and RI; eastern MA: A sloppy rain/snow mix along the I-95 corridor from Boston to Richmond Sunday. Accumulations generally 2 inches or less. Temperatures at or slightly above freezing. Right now expect only minor disruptions to I-95. Advisories possible later today or tonight.
