  • Extensive fog through late morning over the Gulf Coast States.
  • High winds Saturday over much of southwest Montana and the higher terrain of Wyoming.

Here’s the long-range travel & RV weather outlook (last updated Wednesday 1 December)

— Interior central CA: Dense Fog Advisory through late morning for the central and southern Sacramento Valley, northern San Joaquin Valley, and the Delta. I-5, I-80, CA-99 impacted.

— Central and southwest MT: High Wind Watch for Saturday. Gusts to 60 mph. I-15, I-90 impacted.

— Northern MT east of the Rocky Mountain Front: Winter Storm Warnings, Watches and Advisories for Saturday and Saturday night. Accumulations generally 2-7 inches. Highest amounts at higher elevations near the Rocky Mountain Front and also in northeast MT. Northern-most portion of I-15, eastern-most portion of I-94 impacted.

— Southeast WY: High Wind Watch late tonight through Sunday. Gusts to 75 mph. I-25, I-80 impacted.

— Northern ND, northern MN, extreme northwest WI: Winter Storm Watches Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Accumulations generally 4-7 inches with winds gusting 30-40 mph. I-29, I-35 impacted.

— Eastern TX; LA; southern MS; most of AL; southwest GA; northern and central FL, including the Panhandle: Dense Fog Advisories through late morning. Major highways impacted include I-4, I-10, I-12, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-59, I-65, I-75.
