- Today’s winter storm brings snow from Nebraska to New England, heavy rain and flooding to northern Arkansas and Kentucky, and a threat of widespread thunderstorms and significant severe weather, including the chance of strong tornadoes, to parts of the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys.
- Heavy rains, higher elevation snows, and gusty winds return to the Pacific Northwest starting Sunday afternoon.
- Arctic-like wind chill temperatures persist across the Upper Mid West through Sunday.

— WA Olympic Mountains: Winter Storm Watch Sunday afternoon through Monday above 2500 feet. 12-18 inches of snow and wind gusts to 55 mph.
— Coastal WA including much of Puget Sound: Wind Advisories this afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Gusts to 55 mph. US-101 impacted.
— WA and OR Cascades; northern CA around Shasta Lake and I-5 north of Redding: Winter Storm Watches Sunday afternoon through Monday above 1500 feet: 15-30 inches of snow and wind gusts 35-50 mph. I-5, I-90 impacted.
— Coastal OR above 1000 feet: High Wind Watch Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. Gusts to 65 mph. US-101 potentially impacted.
— Portions of north-central and northeast OR and adjacent southeast WA; central, south-central and southeast OR; southwest ID: High Wind Watches and Advisories Sunday afternoon through Monday night. Wind gusts. 50-60 mph. I-84 impacted.
— Southern CA Ventura and Los Angeles County Mountains: Wind Advisory through this afternoon. Gusts 45-55 mph. I-5 impacted.
— Southwest ID just north of I-84 and adjacent east-central OR, including I-84: Winter Storm Watch Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. 6-10 inches snow likely with gusts to 50 mph. I-84 (OR) impacted.
— Western MT Rocky Mountain Front and central MT: Winter Weather Advisory and High Wind Warnings through Sunday for Blowing Snow and wind gusts 60-75 mph. I-15 impacted.
— South-central MT: High Wind Warning through Monday evening. Gusts to 65 mph. Combined with blowing snow, I-90 and US-191 highly impacted.
— Southeast WY: High Wind Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories this afternoon through Sunday night. A combination of wind gusts to 75 mph and blowing snow will create dangerous travel conditions. I-25, I-80 highly impacted.
— Western CO along and west of I-25; north-central and western NM; adjacent eastern AZ; high terrain in east-central and northeast AZ: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories today. 2-10 additional inches accumulation possible. I-25, I-40, I-70 impacted.
— Northwest, central and southern NM; far-west TX; southeast AZ: High Wind Warnings and Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts 45-60 mph. I-10, I-20, I-25, I-40 impacted.
— Eastern CO; northeast NM; northern TX Panhandle; western and northern OK; KS; central and southern NE; northern and central MO; central and southern IA; central and northern IL; southern WI; southern MI: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories through tonight. Snow accumulation 2-8 inches. Some freezing rain likely in the southern portions of the warned area. Wind gusts to 35 mph. Travel highly impacted. Major highways impacted include I-29, I-35, I-44, I-55, I-69, I-70, I-75, I-80, I-90, I-94.

Rainfall in some areas may exceed 3 inches. Major highways potentially impacted include I-24, I-40, I-55, I-64, I-65, I-68, I-76 / PA Turnpike, I-77, I-79.
— TN, northern MS, northern AL: Greatest risk today from severe thunderstorms that may contain damaging wind gusts, large hail and tornadoes, some of which may be strong. Major highways potentially impacted include I-40, I-55, I-59, I-65.
— Southern and eastern LA; much of MS; most of AL; western FL Panhandle; eastern TN: Wind Advisories today and tonight. Wind gusts 35-45 mph. Major highways impacted include I-10, I-12, I-20, I-40, I-55, I-59, I-65.
— Northern and western NY; most of VT, northern NH; northern ME: Wind Weather Advisories this evening through Sunday evening. Snow accumulations generally 3-5 inches, mixing with freezing rain in many locations. I-87, I-89, I-90 / NY Thruway, I-89, I-91, I-93, I-95 impacted.
— Scattered areas of dense fog through late this morning along the eastern seaboard from ME to FL. I-75 (FL) and I-95 among the highways impacted.
