— Northeast, central and east-central NV: Winter Storm Warnings (northeast) and Advisories through this evening. Total snowfall accumulations 1-4 inches central, 3-7 inches northeast, and more in the higher mountains. Wind gusts 35-45 mph. I-80, US-6, US-50, US-93 impacted.
— Central CA Southern Sierra Nevada including Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs: Winter Weather Advisory through early tonight. Snow accumulations 1-3 inches at 4000 feet and 6-12 inches at 6000 feet. Wind gusts to 70 mph along ridge tops.
— Central CA San Joaquin Valley and coastal areas: Wind Advisories this afternoon through early tonight. Gusts 40-45 mph; higher along coastal exposed headlands. I-5, US-101, CA-1, CA-99 impacted.
— Central and southwest NV: Wind Advisories today and tonight. Gusts to 55 mph. US-6, US-50, US-95 impacted.
— Southeast and southern CA; southern NV: High Wind Warnings and Blowing Dust Advisories today and tonight. Widespread wind gusts 55-75 mph. I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, US-93, US-95, US-101, US-395, CA-1, CA-58, highways in the greater Los Angeles and San Diego areas all impacted.
Mountain:
— Northeast MT: Winter Weather Advisory continues through midday today. An additional inch of snow possible.
— Parts of north-central and central ID and adjacent western MT: Winter Weather Advisories continue through this morning. Total snow accumulations 2-4 inches.
— Southwest and south-central ID: Wind Advisory this evening through Tuesday afternoon. Wind gusts to 55 mph. I-84 impacted.
— Parts of southern and southeast MT; eastern, central and southern WY; southeast ID; northern, central and western UT; portions of western CO: Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories today and Tuesday. 6-24 inches of snow and wind gusts to at least 40 mph. I-15, I-25, I-70, I-80, I-84, I-90 impacted.
— Southern, southeast and east-central UT; all of AZ and NM; western and southern CO; far-west TX: High Wind Warnings and Advisories today and tonight. Warnings and Advisories continue through Tuesday for CO and NM. Widespread wind gusts 50-70 mph. Blowing dust and suddenly reduced visibility will be a danger on the highways. I-10, I-15, I-17, I-19, I-25, I-40, I-70 impacted.
Central:
— Central, southern and southwest ND; central and western SD; north-central and northwest NE: BLIZZARD WARNINGS this evening though Wednesday. 10-20 inches of snow and wind gusts to 60 mph. I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Eastern and north-central ND; eastern SD; central and northern MN and adjacent northwest WI: Winter Storm Watches Tuesday through Thursday. Heavy snow and wind gusts to 55 mph will produce near-blizzard or blizzard conditions. I-29, I-35, I-90, I-94 impacted.
— Southwest KS; western and central OK; north-central, western and northwest TX, including the Panhandle: High Wind Watches and Advisories Tuesday. Wind gusts 55-70 mph; strongest in the western portions of this region. Blowing dust and suddenly reduced visibility will be a danger on the highways. I-10, I-20, I-35, I-40 impacted.
— Southeast MS; southern AL; western FL Panhandle: TORNADO WATCH through late this morning. A couple of tornadoes, ping-pong ball sized hail and wind gusts to 70 mph all possible. I-10, I-59, I-65 potentially impacted.
— Southeast IA and northeast MO; parts northern IL: Chance of a few strong thunderstorms turning marginally severe tonight Large hail is the main threat. I-55, I-57, I-72, I-74, I-80, I-88 potentially impacted.
— Central and north-central TX; south-central OK: Chance of a few strong thunderstorms turning marginally severe this afternoon and evening. I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-37, I-45 potentially impacted.
— Northeast TX; eastern OK; most of AR; MO; eastern KS; southern, central and eastern IA; southern WI; IL; western IN: A much more significant threat of severe weather late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. A few strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds are probable within this region. The region at greatest risk is eastern IA, northeast MO and adjacent northwest IL. I-20, I-29, I-30, I-39, I-40, I-44, I-55, I-57, I-64, I-69, I-70, I-72, I-74, I-80, I-88, I-90 potentially impacted.
— Southeast AL; southwest GA and adjacent northern FL Panhandle: Flood Watch through this evening. 2-4 inches rain today with the potential for 5 inches in some areas. I-10 potentially impacted.
— Eastern TX; central and northern LA; southeast AR; central and northern MS; northwest AL; much of TN: Slight risk of flash flooding Wednesday and Wednesday night. 2-4 inches of rain possible. I-10, I-20, I-22, I-24, I-40, I-45, I-49, I-55, I-65, I-75 potentially impacted.
Eastern:
— Southeast AL; southwest GA and adjacent northern FL Panhandle: Flood Watch through this evening. 2-4 inches rain today with the potential for 5 inches in some areas. I-10 potentially impacted.
— Western and northern NY: Strong wind gusts 30-40 mph Monday morning. I-81, I-86, I-90 / NY Thruway impacted.
