Three things to know about Travel & RV Weather Friday 24 March

** Heads Up ** Major tornado outbreak possible this evening and early tonight over the mid-Mississippi Valley. At greatest risk for strong or intense tornadoes is the area bounded by Memphis TN, Little Rock AR, Shreveport LA and Jackson MS. Have a way (or two) to get official warnings; have a plan of where to go and what to take. Your RV is NOT a tornado shelter.

  • Big severe weather outbreak this evening and tonight from the lower Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley.
  • Significant flash flooding threat through Saturday from eastern Oklahoma to the upper Ohio Valley.
  • High winds tomorrow over much of the Midwest spreading into the Northeast Saturday night.

For those who use Apple (@icloud, @me, @mac.com) accounts:  my apologies for the almost comical delays (days) in delivery times for these emails.  I’ve determined my email provider is not that interested in fixing this issue, so I’ll be changing providers in the next few weeks.  I hope it will not disrupt service and deliveries to Apple domain servers become as timely as deliveries to all the other major email services.
