A widespread and significant flood risk continues across the south-central U.S. from repeated rounds of intense rain and strong to severe thunderstorms. Some snows today and tomorrow in the Northern Rockies. Summer-time heat builds into the mid-Atlantic.

— Northeast CA, northwest NV, Northern and Central CA Sierra Nevada mountains above 6500 feet: Winter Weather Advisories Wednesday night through Thursday midday. 1-4 inches snow expected. I-80 impacted.

— CA Central Coasts and inland west of I-5: Wind Advisories this evening through Thursday morning. Gusts to 50 mph. US-101 impacted.

— Southern CA northwest and north of Los Angeles: High Wind Warnings (Santa Barbara County) and Wind Advisories late this morning through Thursday evening. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-5, I-10, CA-58, US-101 impacted.

— Northeast ID, Northwest and north-central MT along the Rocky Mountain Front. Winter Storm Warnings (Rocky Mountain Front) and Advisories this morning through Friday afternoon. 2-4 inches in lower elevations, but 4-9 inches in the mountains. I-15, I-90 impacted.

— Interior southern CA deserts, southern NV, northern AZ, portions of western UT: High Wind Watches (UT) and Wind Advisories for Thursday. Gusts. 50-60 mph. I-15, I-40 impacted.

— Eastern WY, southwest SD, western NE: Slight threat of severe thunderstorms Thursday. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the primary risks.

— Southeast SD, extreme southwest MN, northwest IA: Dense Fog Advisories this morning. I-29, I-90 impacted.

— South-central KS: Dense Fog Advisory this morning. I-70 impacted.

— Central and Eastern TX, southeast OK, central and southwest AR, most of LA: Flash Flood Watches through this evening. I-10, I-12, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-49 potentially impacted.

— Southern TX: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect through early afternoon. I-2 potentially impacted.

— Coastal LA, MS, AL: Wind Advisory through mid-afternoon. Gusts to 30 mph in non-thunderstorm winds. I-10 impacted.
