Heavy rains and strong thunderstorms over AR, northern MS, and eastern TN and KY post a risk of flash flooding. Slight risk of severe weather today over the Northern High Plains. There will be a greater risk of severe weather on the Northern High Plains on Thursday.

— Santa Barbara County CA: Wind Advisory tonight. Gusts to 45 mph. US-101 impacted.

— Southeast CA, southern and eastern NV: High Wind Watches and Wind Advisories for Wednesday. Gusts 50-60 mph. I-15 impacted.

— Northeast MT: Flash Flood Watch late this afternoon and tonight for heavy rain showers and thunderstorms.

— Eastern MT, western ND, western SD, western NE: Severe thunderstorms expected late this afternoon and tonight. Very large hail, damaging winds and a couple of tornadoes possible. I-76, I-80, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

— South-central KS: Dense Fog Advisory through late morning.

— Central and southern AR, northern MS: Flash Flood Watches continue. I-30, I-40 potentially impacted.
