A significant flood risk continues across TX and LA Gulf Coasts and into AR. Low pressure over the Great Basin brings more snow today for the MT Rockies, a slight risk today and this evening for severe thunderstorms over the Northern and Central High Plains, and strong wind gusts to UT and the four-corners region. Summer-time heat builds into the mid-Atlantic.

— Northeast CA, northwest NV, Northern and Central CA Sierra Nevada mountains above 6500 feet: Winter Weather Advisories t through midday today. Minimal additional impacts.

— CA Central Coasts and Central Valley: Wind Advisories through this evening. Gusts 30-45 mph. I-5, US-101 impacted.

— Southern CA deserts and interior, southern NV: High Wind Warning (CA Tehachapi) and Wind Advisories today and tonight. Gusts 55-65 mph. I-8, I-10, I-15 impacted.

— Northeast ID, Northwest and north-central MT along the Rocky Mountain Front. Winter Storm Warnings (Rocky Mountain Front) and Advisories continue through Friday afternoon. 2-4 inches in lower elevations, 5-12 inches in the mountains, and 1-2 feet of snow above pass levels.. I-15, I-90 impacted.

— Central and northern AZ, southeastern UT: Wind Advisories through Friday evening. Gusts 50-55 mph. I-40, I-70 impacted.

— West-central and southwest UT: High Wind Warning this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 65 mph. I-15 on the eastern edge of the warning area.

— Southeast MT, eastern WY, western SD, western NE: Slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary threats.

— Northwest CO: Wind Advisory this afternoon and evening. Gusts to 50 mph.

— Northwest TX, central and southern TX Panhandle, adjacent NM: Dense Fog Advisory through midmorning. I-40 impacted.

— Central, southern and eastern TX, central and southwest AR, most of LA: Flash Flood Watches through this afternoon. I-10, I-20, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-45, I-49 potentially impacted.

— Coastal LA, MS: Wind Advisory through mid-afternoon. Gusts to 30 mph in non-thunderstorm winds. I-10 impacted.
