A slow moving system will bring additional rounds of heavy rainfall from the Deep South to the Mid-Atlantic region. Strong gusty winds push across portions of ID, WY and MT today. Scattered severe storms are likely late this afternoon and evening. across much of the northern and central Plains. Very large hail, 70+ mph wind gusts and a couple of tornadoes all possible.

— Ventura County CA: Wind Advisory tonight through mid-morning. Gusts to 50 mph. I-5 impacted.

— North-central ID above 5000 feet: Winter Weather Advisories today. 1-5 inches snow possible.

— Southeast ID: Wind Advisory through this evening. Gusts to 50 mph. I-15, I-84 impacted.

— East-central and northeast UT, southern, central and eastern WY, southeast MT: High Wind Warnings (WY, MT) and Wind Advisories (UT) today and tonight. Gusts 55-65 mph. I-25, I-70, I-80, I-90, I-94 impacted.

— Eastern MT, far-eastern WY, ND, SD, much of NE: Scattered severe thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging winds and a couple of tornadoes all possible. I-80, I-90, I-94 potentially impacted.

— Eastern CO and western KS: Dense Fog Advisory through mid-morning. I-70 impacted.

— Southeast MN: Excessive Heat Warning today and this evening.

— Central and southern AR, northern MS, northwest AL: Flash Flood Watches and Warnings continue through this evening. I-40, I-59 potentially impacted.

— Northeast WV, much of MD, northern VA, DC: Flash Flood Watches this afternoon and evening. I-70, I-81, I-95 potentially impacted.
