Heavy rainfall will bring a threat of flash flooding across portions of the Mid-Atlantic. Widespread heat advisories continue in the Southern Plains. Excessive heat warnings for temperatures up to 116 deg F for much of the desert southwest next week starting Monday. Slight chance of severe weather today over eastern KS and northeast OK.

— Ventura County CA: Wind Advisory tonight through Saturday morning. Gusts to 50 mph. US-101 impacted.

— Los Angeles County mountains CA: Wind Advisory through mid morning. Gusts to 45 mph. I-5 impacted.

— Southeast CA, southern NV, eastern and southern AZ: Excessive Heat Warnings this coming Monday through Friday (14-18 June). Many locations will reach 108 to 116 deg F. I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40 impacted.

— Eastern KS, northeast OK: Slight chance of severe thunderstorms today. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats. I-44, I-70 potentially impacted.

— Northern MS: Flash Flood Watch through this evening. I-59 potentially impacted.

— Eastern KY, northeast TN, WV, VA and adjacent NC: Flash Flood Watches through this evening. I-64, I-66, I-81, I-95 potentially impacted.
