Grand Teton String Lake Forecast Sunday – Monday 20-21 June

A (very) brief cool-down on Sunday

Sunday: Increasing cloudiness in the morning with a chance of isolated showers in the afternoon. Not as hot. Highs in the mid-70’s. Light to moderate breezes, with winds coming from the north by afternoon. Gusts 22-28 mph midday from the west, then 18-22 mph from the north . By evening the chop and waves on Leigh Lake will be highest at the south end (near the Portage). Any rain that might fall will be light.

Monday: Becoming sunny and warmer. Highs around 80 deg. Not as breezy.

Extended Outlook:

Tuesday: Sunny and very warm. Highs in the mid to upper 80’s.

Wednesday through Friday: Highs in the lower 80’s with a chance of afternoon showers Thursday and Friday.

Outlook for the following week: Hot and dry starting Sunday (the 27th), with high temperatures 88-92 deg F.
